Robert Ursan's The Little Prince
The Little Prince is a musical and a story that offers something for everyone who experiences it. Based on the famous novella written in 1943 by French writer, poet and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince is the tale of an airplane pilot, who crashes in the Sahara desert, where he finds a little prince, a boy who comes from a small planet he calls Asteroid 325. The Little Prince tells the narrator that he left his planet to explore others, and in the process has encountered a strange, narrow-minded world of grown-ups. The story incorporates a number of very thoughtful themes and symbols.
